How can we be so advanced, and still so unwell?
We know more than ever about health. So why do we feel worse?
The Health Crisis No One Wants to Talk About (But We Need To)
We live in a time of incredible technological and scientific advancement.
We can 3D-print organs, edit genes, communicate across the planet in seconds, and access more medical information from a phone than most doctors learned in school a few decades ago.
And yet—our health outcomes are some of the worst in the developed world.
How can that be?
We’re not born with a manual for how to care for a human body. So we do our best. We try diets, pills, saunas, yoga, supplements, and gadgets. We read blogs, watch YouTube, follow influencers. We chase cures, hacks, fixes.
But for all our knowledge and effort, something isn’t working.
The Data Doesn’t Lie
When we compare the U.S. to other wealthy countries, the picture is clear:
We spend more on healthcare per person than any other country—almost double the average, and in some cases, 3–5 times more.
But our outcomes? Far worse.
Compared to our peer nations, the U.S. has:
The lowest life expectancy
The highest infant and maternal mortality rates
The highest rate of unmanaged diabetes
The highest death rate from treatable conditions
High suicide rates
The highest percentage of people with multiple chronic illnesses
And an obesity rate nearly double the average of the wealthiest 38 countries
And that’s just scratching the surface.
Here’s the deeper issue…
I bet you have at least one health issue that you think about every day.
Something that keeps you up at night...
Something that makes you feel old before your time...
Something you don’t fully understand...
Something that lingers no matter what you try...
And if you don’t, someone close to you does.
We’re not broken. But the system we’ve trusted to keep us well is.
Nobody tells you this, but it’s important:
Health isn’t something you fix once and forget about.
It’s something you create on a daily basis.
You do this with your thoughts, how you move, what you eat, and how you treat your body.
You’re either feeding it—or draining it.
I want to help free you from the confusion, fear, and frustration surrounding your health.
It won’t happen overnight.
It’ll take patience, some effort, and a shift in how you see your body.
But it’s possible. You can get better—one step at a time.

Which means: it’s for you.
And maybe the concern that’s been haunting you will be addressed in a future edition.

Isn’t it strange how we spend our whole lives inside our bodies…
…yet most of us only learn how to care for them once things go wrong?
Consider this your wake-up call.
Your health needs your attention. Every day.
Putting it off isn’t doing you any favors.
So let’s change that.
Let’s make health something you create, not something you chase.
Your Action Step for Today
Pick one thing that your body’s been asking for lately.
Maybe it’s more movement.
Maybe it’s better sleep.
Maybe it’s drinking more water, stretching, or calling that friend.
Whatever it is, give it to yourself today.
Don’t wait for the “perfect plan” or the “right time.”
Start where you are. Small actions create momentum.
And momentum creates change.
