I'm excited to announce the launch of Community Wellness Nights in our space.

Community Wellness Nights are part social, part educational, and part practical - bringing people together through workshops designed to help you better understand your body and give you practical tools to support your health.

Each Wellness Night will focus on a specific topic, combining education with hands-on practice. You'll learn practical tools and healthy habits and I will lead you in a practice session to help you feel more confident integrating them into your daily life.

You'll also join a community of people who are actively working toward building healthier, more fulfilling lives. I know I am not the only one who has noticed a loss of community in recent years, and there is already such a wonderful collection of people in this practice that I'm sure there are many friendships waiting to be discovered. My hope is that these evenings help us strengthen this community and rediscover that vitally important part of what it means to be human.

I plan to host Community Wellness Nights every other Thursday evening. I have many ideas for future topics, but I also welcome suggestions from the community.

Our first workshop will take place on Thursday, June 25th, from 6:30–8:00 PM and will focus on breathing and breathwork.

Breath is one of the most powerful tools we have for regulating the nervous system and changing how we feel. Because breathing directly influences the nervous system, it can help shift your state even when your mind feels overwhelmed or stuck.

I’m excited to teach this topic in more depth because I believe it is profoundly valuable for anyone with lungs. Ever since experiencing its effects firsthand, I've thought it was funny that most of us know very little about breathing despite taking thousands of breaths every day. Because it happens automatically, we rarely think about it. But like many things in life, when we bring conscious awareness to it, something simple and ordinary can become a powerful vehicle for transformation.

Community Wellness Nights are $30 per person. If you are an active member of the practice (have visited within the last six months), the fee is waived. You're welcome - and encouraged - to bring friends or family. If a guest later decides to join the practice, their workshop fee can be applied toward the new patient intake fee.

I hope you'll join us as we learn, practice, and build a healthier community together. I'm excited to create a space where we can learn, connect, and support one another in living healthier lives.
